In order for UX design to be valuable, there's a multitude of aspects designers need to take into account and pay extra close attention to. Here are a few of the most important:

Useful and usable

Enticing

Accessible and easy to find

Credible

1. Useful and usable

The content displayed has to fulfill a need or desire of the user, and the site itself needs to be easy and enjoyable to use!

2. Enticing

The content and branding is all executed in a way that is desirable and evokes emotion and interest in the user.

3. Accessible and easy to find

The site needs to be locatable and easy to navigate. It needs to also be accessible to anyone with disabilities.

4. Credible

The user should be able to trust that what the site provides is valid and legitimate.3
